Gunze 5-wire panels are durable and transparent touch panels that are ideal for heavy-duty applications such as POS terminals. 5-wire panels accurately
produce output data even if the panel surface is scratched and some points are damaged through heavy use. Hitting durability is 10 million times/1 kgf —
more than ten times greater than conventional resistance-type touch panels. Gunze's team of design engineers will work with you to select the right touch panel
or treatment available, for your specific touch panel application needs.
Gunze offers a selection of standard touch panels in sizes that fit easily into a wide range of displays for fast deployment and integration into existing
products. Our standard 5-wire touch panels are available in sizes ranging from 5.7" to 17". However, a large portion of Gunze USA's business revolves around

Upper electrode film on 5-wire panel functions as a probe that detects the applied voltage. Positioning detection is handled
only at the lower glass electrodes. Therefore, scratches that may occur on upper film electrodes as a result of heavy
use do not affect positioning detection
